The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) has established industry-wide best practices for patient financial communications. The goal of these standards is to “bring consistency, clarity and transparency” to patient discussions.
Trace™ tools are used to record pre-service communication with patients, from the initial phone call to the check-in at time of service. These recordings, along with supporting documentation stored in Trace, give providers an objective source of information for issue resolution, service recovery and quality assurance – all to help reach best practice standards.
